Dinner, Costumes and Karaoke: A Halloween Night Out
A good Halloween night gives everyone in the group something to enjoy. The singer gets a turn in the spotlight. The costume enthusiast gets a reason to go all out. The friend who would rather watch gets a roomful of performances to cheer on. At Famous Sam’s, dinner can be part of the same outing.
If you’re choosing where to go for Halloween weekend in Tucson, Famous Sam’s on River Road makes it easy to keep the group together. Meet for food, settle in and be ready for the Friday, October 30 kickoff at 8 PM.
You don’t need a complicated itinerary to make the night memorable. A favorite song, an inventive costume and the right company can do plenty of work. DJ Scott’s karaoke, the costume contest and prize giveaways are the announced entertainment.
Halloween Karaoke with DJ Scott
Karaoke has a way of turning a table of friends into a chorus. Add Halloween costumes and even a familiar song gets a little more theatrical: a monster tackling a power ballad, a superhero taking on a classic, or the quietest person at the table suddenly finding a stage voice.
DJ Scott hosts the karaoke on Friday, October 30, with festivities beginning at 8 PM. Pick a song you love, bring your cheering section and enjoy the performances. You can have a great night whether you take the microphone or leave the singing to your friends.
The event poster confirms DJ Scott and the 8 PM start. Song-request procedures and an end time haven’t been announced; ask the restaurant for any additional details.
A Halloween Costume Contest and Prize Giveaways
The costume contest is confirmed on the new flyer. This is your excuse to bring the clever idea, the eerie character or the costume your friends will still be talking about next week. Half the fun is seeing what everyone else comes up with.
Prize giveaways are also part of the Friday-night celebration. The specific prizes, contest categories, judging process, entry rules and giveaway times have not yet been announced.
Get your costume ready and watch for those details from Famous Sam’s. For questions about participating, call (520) 292-0492. The announced lineup is already a lively one: costumes, karaoke with DJ Scott and chances to take part in the giveaways.
Where to Eat Before the Halloween Party
Halloween plans get better when nobody has to leave in search of dinner. Famous Sam’s regular menu gives your group plenty to choose from before the music gets going: wings, burgers, sandwiches, hand-cut fries and starters to share.
Start with Sam’s Famous Wings or pass around nachos, onion rings or mozzarella sticks. For a full meal, try a Samburger, Sam’s Club or the BBQ Chicken Samwich—the grilled-chicken option with provolone, barbecue sauce, lettuce, tomato and an onion ring.
A plate of food gives everyone a chance to catch up, compare costumes and negotiate who’s singing first. Plan time to eat before the 8 PM Friday festivities, and check with the restaurant about kitchen hours for your visit.
