Start with the portion: Sam’s Famous Wings come in one-pound and two-pound orders. Ordering by weight means the number of pieces can vary, so think about the appetite at your table rather than counting on a fixed number of wings. One person might make wings the meal; a group might put an order in the middle alongside other food. Pick the size that fits the way you want to eat.
Then choose your sauces. Each order allows two flavors, with ranch or blue cheese alongside. That gives you room to keep a favorite and try something different without committing the entire basket to one direction. A sweet-savory choice beside a classic hot-wing flavor makes a useful comparison. If everyone already agrees, keeping one flavor is an equally good plan.
Ranch or blue cheese?
The dip changes the next bite. Ranch generally brings a creamy, herb-forward contrast to a sauced wing. Blue cheese takes a tangier, more pungent direction. Neither needs to cover every piece; a little on the side lets you move between the sauce on its own and the richer combination.
Choose the one you actually enjoy rather than treating the decision as a rule of wing etiquette. If someone at the table prefers the other dip, ask about adding an extra portion when you order. Your wing order includes a choice of ranch or blue cheese; additional dips can be discussed separately.

Are boneless wings part of the deal?

Does all day mean only 2–6 PM?
